Åre kommun is procuring the collection, transport, transshipment and long-distance transport of municipal waste throughout Åre municipality, including islands connected to the mainland. The services include collecting food and residual waste from households and businesses; emptying bins, containers, compactors and above-ground and underground receptacles; scheduled, extra and emergency emptying; operating a transshipment station; weighing and transshipping waste; transporting waste to a treatment facility; and supplying, replacing, retrieving, labelling, registering and performing minor repairs on waste bins.
