Relocation of the holdings of Bonn City Archive and City Historical Library

Summary

The tender covers the planning and execution of the relocation, within Bonn, of all holdings of the City Archive and City Historical Library to a new site. The work includes emptying, packing, transporting and placing approximately 21.5 shelf kilometres of archive and library materials while preserving their logical shelf-to-shelf order. Dismantling, transporting or assembling shelving and furniture is excluded. The restricted procedure has two stages: a participation competition followed by an invitation to submit an offer and a preliminary concept. The planned concept phase runs from 26 April to 18 May 2027 and the physical relocation from 14 June to 29 October 2027. The estimated contract value is EUR 900,000, and participation requests must be submitted by 21 September 2026. Preliminary concept quality is weighted at 70% and price at 30%.
