Construction of a leachate basin at Weinstetten Landfill

Summary

The tender concerns the construction of a two-chamber reinforced-concrete leachate basin with an internal polyethylene lining at Weinstetten Landfill. The works include approximately 4,000 m³ of excavation, 2,000 m³ of backfilling, 420 m of cased drilling, 720 m² of timber infill for the pile-and-lagging shoring, approximately 75 tonnes of steel piles, walers and struts, 250 m³ of cast-in-place concrete for the base and walls, 950 m² of PEHD concrete protection panels, and approximately 200 m of DA90 pressure pipeline with excavation up to 1.5 m.
