Intersection-free development of Frankenschnellweg, western section: road and civil engineering works

Summary

The tender covers the approximately 2 km upgrade of Frankenschnellweg between the Nuremberg/Fürth interchange and the Nuremberg-Westring interchange (Jansen Bridge). The works are divided into three lots: complete renewal of the carriageway structure and road drainage; construction of noise barriers, strengthening of the southern exit ramp of Jansen Bridge and construction of two traffic-sign gantries; and replacement of the bridge over Sigmundstraße with an integral steel-composite structure.
