Purchase of Passenger and Commercial Vehicles in Lots

Summary

The procurement is for five new vehicles for Viseu’s municipal water and sanitation services. It is divided into three lots: Lot 1 covers two goods vehicles with a single cab and at least three seats (base price EUR 80,000 excluding VAT); Lot 2 covers two 4x4 commercial vehicles with at least three seats (EUR 70,500); and Lot 3 covers one five-seat, five-door petrol passenger car (EUR 18,500). The total base price is EUR 169,000 excluding VAT. Bids may cover one or more lots, and all three lots may be awarded to the same bidder. Price is the sole award criterion; in the event of a tie, the deciding factors are, in order, maximum engine torque, warranty period and engine power. Vehicles must be delivered within 90 days of contract signature. They must be new and meet the technical requirements for their lot; each lot requires a warranty of at least 3 years or 100,000 km. The supplier must train drivers within five days of delivery, arrange warranty-period maintenance and repairs within 30 km of the workshops at the Viso warehouses, and provide a maintenance plan and vehicle technical documents. Bids must be submitted electronically by 19 October 2026 at 23:59 and remain valid for 120 days.
