Summary

Kolno General Hospital is procuring the collection, loading, transport and treatment of medical waste for 24 months, with an estimated total volume of 71,560 kg (about 2,981.67 kg per month). The waste includes infectious and non-infectious clinical waste, body parts and organs, chemicals, cytotoxic and cytostatic medicines, other medicines, and contaminated packaging. Collection is scheduled three times a week for specified waste streams, once a week for others, and on request for surgical instruments and their residues; the service also includes approximately 150 sealed 20-litre containers and clean replacements.
