Modernisation of the Hospital Backup Power System – Stage II

Summary

The Municipality of Toruń is procuring design and construction work to modernise the low-voltage main switchboard and automatic transfer switching system in Building O at the Specialist Municipal Hospital named after Nicolaus Copernicus. The works include connecting the switchboard’s middle section to backup power from an existing 500 kVA generator, replacing the transfer system and associated equipment, modifying the busbar and cable connections, and removing and adapting the kitchen switchboard automation. The single, indivisible design-and-build contract also includes temporary backup power during the works, testing with the hospital’s generators, and handover of the completed system and documentation.
