Replacement works for the modernization of the Poster Museum in Wilanów

Summary

The tender is for replacement works as part of the modernization of the Poster Museum in Wilanów, because the original contractor failed to remedy all defects recorded in the final acceptance report by the required time. The works will take place at ul. Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 in Warsaw and must be completed by 27 November 2026 at the latest. The works include repairing construction and finishing defects in the security pavilion and coach house: reinstating plaster and paint finishes, partly replacing facade insulation, repairing window and door reveals, adjusting and testing lightning protection, improving gutters, downpipes and sheet-metal flashings, cleaning rainwater inspection points, installing ventilation grilles, securing electrical fittings, cleaning floor tiles, and tiling and repainting the coach-house exhibition-storage room. The contractor must also supply and install the specified mobile and stationary storage shelving, furniture and small appliances. The contract also includes supplying a display screen, a MagicINFO software licence and a tablet for assisting visitors, and relocating, extending, configuring, programming and testing the CCTV, fire-alarm and intrusion-alarm systems, including the required cameras, recorder, hard drive, UPS, rack cabinet and accessories. The contractor must provide materials, protect and maintain the work area, manage waste and document the works. Work will take place in an operating museum and must cause as little disruption to its daily activities as possible. The bid must state the total price and include a simplified-method price estimate. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and the warranty and defect-liability period for 40%: the minimum is 60 months, with increasing points for offers of 72, 84, 96, 108 and 120 months. A PLN 6,000 tender guarantee is required; before signing the contract, the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the gross bid price. Bidders must have liability insurance of at least PLN 500,000, qualifying construction experience and a suitably licensed construction manager. Personnel performing physical general construction work must be employed under employment contracts.
