Landscaping and small architectural features at Freedom Square in Szydłowiec
Summary
The contract covers landscaping Freedom Square in Szydłowiec and constructing small architectural features. The work includes a sandstone pavement, a central square and paths surfaced with aged sandstone paving blocks, sandstone edging, the supply and installation of street furniture, solar lighting, power supply and installation for four in-ground lights, landscaping and planting, and site cleanup. The price must also cover site organisation and protection, required tests and measurements, waste removal and as-built documentation. The works must be completed within six months of contract signing. The contract is paid as a lump sum, which must cover all work required by the project documents. To qualify, a bidder must hold business-related third-party liability insurance of at least PLN 200,000 and must have properly completed, during the previous five years, at least one road or shared pedestrian-and-vehicle route construction or reconstruction project surfaced with paving blocks, worth at least PLN 200,000 gross. The team must include a construction manager qualified to manage road works with at least three years’ experience as a construction manager or works inspector. The offer must include the required declaration, price form and priced works estimate, as well as representation and joint-bidder documents where applicable. Workers directly performing physical construction tasks must be employed under employment contracts. Offers must be submitted electronically by 12:00 on 19 October 2026. The award criteria are price (60 points) and warranty period (40 points); the offered warranty must be between 24 and 60 months.
