Renovation of a primary school basement for adaptation as a temporary shelter

Summary

The tender concerns renovation of the basement level of Primary School No. 2 in Dąbrowa Tarnowska to adapt the premises for use as a temporary shelter. The works include foundation insulation and damp protection; excavation, drainage and perimeter drainage; clearing and demolition; floor and wall renovation; steel opening covers and steel doors; and plumbing and electrical works. The scope includes DN 100 drainage pipes, 15 inspection chambers, two wall-mounted heat-recovery ventilation units of each of the two specified types, and a composting toilet. Electrical works include upgrading and installing a distribution board, a fire-service power isolation switch, wiring, sockets and lighting. The works must be completed by 15 December 2026 at the latest. The site is to be handed over and work started within three days of contract signature. The minimum warranty is 36 months. Offers are evaluated on price (60%) and warranty (40%); warranties of up to 60 months count toward evaluation. The offer must be submitted electronically in Polish with a completed price estimate and a PLN 7,000 bid guarantee. The bidder must demonstrate the required comparable construction experience, liability insurance of at least PLN 400,000, and access to people holding execution-stage construction authorisations in the general building specialism to direct the works. The successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total contract price before signing the contract.
