Supply of thoracic and abdominal aortic stent-graft systems to the hospital in Kielce

Summary

The Regional Hospital in Kielce is procuring abdominal and thoracic aortic stent-graft systems for its vascular surgery department in two separate, indivisible lots. Each lot covers 15 units: Lot 1 is for abdominal aortic stent-graft systems and Lot 2 for thoracic aortic stent-graft systems. Bidders may bid for either or both lots. The abdominal system specification calls for a nitinol support frame and polyester covering, secure fixation, and a range of main-body and limb diameters and lengths; a uniliac option is also required. The thoracic system must be available with and without free-flow, for treatment of thoracic aortic dissection; the specification gives graft diameters of 22–46 mm, lengths of 70–240 mm and delivery-system sizes. The offered medical devices must meet the technical specification and be duly authorised for marketing and use in Poland. The contract will initially run for 12 months and may be extended by up to a further 12 months if supplies remain unused. The initial set must be delivered to the hospital’s central depot within five days of contract signature; used items must be replenished following an order within no more than five working days. Orders depend on the hospital’s actual needs, and the full estimated quantities may not be ordered. Offers are evaluated on price (60%), depot replenishment time (20%) and invoice payment term (20%); the available replenishment commitments are 3, 4 or 5 working days and payment terms are 30, 45 or 60 days. For each lot bid, the bidder must have duly supplied stents and/or stent grafts for vascular surgery to a healthcare provider during the previous three years, with qualifying deliveries worth at least PLN 250,000 gross. The bid must include the completed forms and product catalogues, descriptions or technical data demonstrating that the offered device complies with the requirements. Declarations of conformity and other medical-device documents must be provided within five working days if requested by the contracting authority.
