Landscaping of green areas at Konopnicka Square in Szydłowiec

Summary

The contract covers the comprehensive redevelopment of green areas at Konopnicka Square and the adjoining street section in Szydłowiec. The works include demolishing the existing fountain, concrete wall and footpaths; constructing a new reinforced-concrete fountain, a water-treatment pump station and a buffer tank; installing water, stormwater and electrical connections; building footpaths with various concrete and sandstone surfaces, a pergola and lighting; removing trees and planting new trees, shrubs and perennials; preparing green areas and sowing grass; and installing small architectural features. The bidder must also include the costs of site organisation, necessary testing, surveying services and as-built documentation. The works must be completed within 7 months of contract signature, and the bid must cover the full scope required by the design. Price carries 60 evaluation points and warranty duration 40 points; the warranty must be between 24 and 60 months. The bidder must hold liability insurance of at least PLN 1,500,000 and have completed at least one comparable project worth at least PLN 1,500,000 within the last five years, involving development of a recreational area with a fountain and small architectural features. The construction manager must hold the relevant construction management qualifications and have at least three years’ experience. Bids must be submitted electronically. No bid security is required, but the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 3% of the gross contract price.
