Renovation of the historic Classicist town hall in Gąbin, stage III

Summary

The tender covers the third stage of renovation of the historic Classicist town hall in Gąbin, focusing mainly on the roof and attic ceiling. The works include removing the existing roof covering, gutters, downpipes and sheet-metal flashings; partially dismantling the roof structure and timber attic-ceiling components; formwork, reinforcement and cast-in-place concrete works for reinforced-concrete ring beams and a ceiling section; constructing a new treated-timber roof structure; and installing ceramic roof tiles and standing-seam coated sheet metal. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and warranty for 40%; the minimum warranty is 24 months, while a 36-month warranty earns 20 points and a 48-month warranty earns 40 points. The contractor must also provide a 24-month defect-liability period. Payment is based on the quantities actually completed and accepted and the unit prices in the bid. The successful bidder must provide performance security before contract signature equal to 5% of the total bid price including VAT. Bidders must submit the completed price form and a simplified cost estimate based strictly on the bill of quantities. To participate, the bidder must demonstrate at least one construction project carried out at an immovable monument entered in the monuments register or in the inventory of a museum that is a cultural institution. The bidder must also have a construction manager with the building qualifications required by law and at least 18 months’ experience in construction works at such monuments. Workers directly performing construction works must be employed under employment contracts. Bidders are subject to the statutory exclusion grounds stated in the tender documents.
