Construction of Two Hydrogeological Production Boreholes at the Cielcza Groundwater Intake

Summary

The contract covers the construction of two hydrogeological production boreholes, S8 and S9, at the groundwater intake in Cielcza, in the Łąkowa Street area. The work includes drilling, installation of well screens and PVC pipes, test pumping and disinfection. The detailed scope is set out in the technical specification and geological works design in the tender documents; the bill of quantities is indicative only. The work must be completed within 60 calendar days of signing the contract, and the contractor must provide a basic warranty of at least 60 months. Bidders may offer up to 12 additional warranty months: price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and the additional warranty period for 40%. Bids must be submitted electronically in Polish by 8:00 a.m. on 16 October 2026. The bidder must demonstrate proper completion of two qualifying projects; before signing the contract, the contractor must also provide liability insurance with cover of at least PLN 200,000 and a geologist with the required qualifications. Workers carrying out well construction must be employed under employment contracts.
