Supply of a specialist sewage and sludge vacuum truck to the Podhale Municipal Utility Company

Summary

The tender is for the supply of one new 4×4 sewage and sludge vacuum truck for a municipal utility serving the Podhale region. The truck must carry at least two people, have a gross vehicle weight of 18,000 kg, a diesel engine rated at no less than 300 hp and emissions of at least Euro 6. It must be manufactured in 2025 or later, be no more than 3.30 m high excluding the warning beacon, and have a fuel tank of at least 250 litres. It must be fitted with a new 10 m³ vacuum-tanker body and equipment for measuring collected sewage and sludge. The tank must be made of steel at least 6 mm thick, galvanised and additionally protected, and hydraulically tiltable. The compressor must have a capacity of at least 850 m³/h, a suction depth of at least 6 m, and fill the tank in no more than 10 minutes. The vehicle and equipment must be suitable for winter operation. The supply includes, among other items, three suction hoses, each 10 m long and 110 mm in diameter, registration documents, Polish-language operating instructions and a maintenance schedule. The supplier must deliver the vehicle at its own expense, demonstrate its operation and instruct the customer’s staff. Delivery is due within 9 months of contract signature. The entire supply must carry a warranty of at least 24 months. Before signing the contract, the successful bidder must identify an authorised permanent service centre for the chassis and tank equipment, within 100 km in a straight line of the contracting authority’s premises, able to begin addressing a reported breakdown within 24 hours of a report made on working days between 8:00 and 16:00. The tender guarantee is PLN 5,000. Price accounts for 80% of the evaluation and extended warranty for 20%; the extension is scored up to two years beyond the 24-month minimum warranty. Bidders must demonstrate the required previous experience and submit declarations concerning exclusion grounds and fulfilment of participation conditions.
