Collection and transport of municipal and medical waste and grease-separator cleaning

Summary

The procurement is divided into two packages, and bidders may tender for either or both. Package 1 covers the collection and transport of municipal and post-consumer waste, together with cleaning of a grease separator. Package 2 covers the collection, transport and treatment or disposal of hazardous medical waste. Services will be provided for six months from contract signature. Under Package 1, municipal waste is collected weekly on Fridays and post-consumer waste twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays; the bidder must select one of the time slots specified in the tender documents. Response times for additional requests are also assessed: up to 12 or 24 hours for additional waste collection under Package 1, up to 48 or 72 hours for additional grease-separator cleaning, and up to 12 or 24 hours for urgent additional medical-waste collection under Package 2. No extra charge is made for these additional services. Price carries up to 80 points and availability up to 20 points. Package 1 services are provided at the healthcare facility in Choroszcz; Package 2 services are provided in Choroszcz and Białystok. Bidders must submit the price form and a declaration concerning participation conditions and must hold the waste-management authorisations required for the package concerned. Drivers and workers performing loading and unloading must be employed under employment contracts for the contract period where their work meets the statutory definition of employment. Valid liability insurance must be maintained throughout the contract.
