The tender concerns the preparation of design documentation for a planned swimming and sports complex for School No. 2 in Koluszki. The work includes, among other things, a site development plan, architectural and building design, structural and building-services and electrical designs, interior finish plans, bills of quantities and an investor’s cost estimate, as well as obtaining the required approvals and permits. The contractor must correct documentation defects identified during the building-permit process and provide author supervision during construction. The design documentation is due within 8 months of contract signature, and the documentation is covered by a 36-month warranty. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and the lead designer’s experience for 40%. The lead designer must have at least 2 qualifying design projects involving an indoor swimming pool or a swimming and sports complex. Contract award also requires, among other things, performance security equal to 5% of the gross contract value and liability insurance covering at least the contract value.
