Authorial supervision for the revitalisation and conservation of Dębno Castle Museum

Summary

The procurement is for authorial supervision during the revitalisation and conservation of Dębno Castle and its surroundings, as well as the demolition and reconstruction of the bridge by the castle. The works also include rebuilding the gatehouse, demolishing an outbuilding shelter, reconstructing the gardens, building a grapevine trellis, altering the castle’s octagonal section and changing the external access routes. Supervision covers architecture, structural and building works, sanitary installations and electrical installations. The contractor will check construction against the designs, explain design solutions, assess and agree alternative solutions, prepare revised drawings and supplementary documentation where needed, and attend meetings, inspections and handovers. The service runs from contract signature until the construction works are completed, for no more than 25 months. The minimum scope is 60 authorial-supervision actions and 40 meetings; the planned maximum is 75 actions and 50 meetings, with a possible increase of up to a further 30 actions and 20 meetings if required. The scope may be reduced by up to 20% as the works progress. Bidders must provide a team with the required professional authorisations and must have properly delivered at least two authorial-supervision services under separate contracts during the past three years for design documentation relating to a protected or otherwise registered historic property. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and the architectural designer’s additional relevant experience for 40%.
