Collection and management of municipal waste in Kazanów municipality in 2027

Summary

The contract covers the collection and proper management of mixed and separately collected household municipal waste from residents’ properties in the 24 villages of Kazanów municipality, as well as service of the municipality’s selective waste collection point. The estimated volume is 700 tonnes over 12 months, and the contract runs for 12 months, expected to start on 1 January 2027. The work includes providing the vehicles and containers needed for collection and management, supplying residents with five-colour waste bags, preparing a collection schedule, and printing and distributing 2,000 information leaflets. Collection frequency varies by waste type; mixed household waste and bio-waste are collected every two weeks from April to October. The contractor must comply with waste management and recovery requirements, submit reports, and monitor residents’ waste-sorting obligations. Bids are assessed on price (60%) and the invoice payment period (40%); the offered payment period must be 7, 14, 21 or 30 days. Participation requires current entries in the regulated-activity register for waste collection and the BDO waste register. Staff carrying out waste loading and unloading or driving and operating vehicles must generally be employed under employment contracts.
