UiO Life Sciences user equipment: low-temperature and high-magnetic-field system for materials characterization

Summary

Statsbygg is procuring a complete system for characterizing materials at controlled low temperatures and in high magnetic fields for the University of Oslo’s Life Sciences building. The system must operate from at least 2 K to 300 K and provide magnetic fields from 0 T to at least 9 T, without requiring an external liquid-helium supply. It will support measurements of magnetic properties, electrical conductivity and specific heat capacity across a range of sample types. Options are included for maintenance agreements and an extended warranty.
