Approach to Drammen harbour

Summary

The tender concerns improving the navigability and sea safety of the dredging corridor leading to Drammen harbour. The project includes dredging approximately 70,000 m3 of loose masses and reaching depths of 5.5–10 meters depending on sub-area; handling of clean to moderately polluted masses in accordance with permits; reusing the masses as fill material at Holmen. The project is designed as a pilot to develop and implement low-emission construction methods, with a strong emphasis on environmental and climate considerations in the bid evaluation.
