Summary

The tender concerns the construction of a new municipal wastewater pumping station at Fyllingsveien in Kirkenes. The new pumping station will replace the existing one and be delivered as a complete ready-to-operate unit, including all necessary components, installations and auxiliary systems to ensure safe, stable and efficient operation. The station is designed to receive and transport wastewater from connected industrial and commercial facilities. The existing network largely comprises old combined sewer and stormwater lines, including inflow from drainage systems, road inlets and other stormwater sources. Consequently, the new pumping station must be dimensioned for significant variations in hydraulic load, including periods of high inflow and stormwater input. The existing pumping station and associated infiltration sump will be dismantled and remediated and delivered to an approved reception in accordance with applicable regulations. An overflow from the new station to a new overflow sump at the shoreline will be established. The overflow system must enable controlled discharge during operational disturbances or capacity exceedances. All affected areas must be restored to at least the same standard as before the works began, including the municipal road.
