Renovation of cladding and roof at Egge School

Summary

Egge School is owned and operated by Lier Municipality. The main building was constructed in 1921 and has later been extended. The latest works, completed in 2024, included a new extension connected to the main building, interior rehabilitation, technical upgrades and asbestos remediation. A new noise barrier has also been installed along Vestsideveien. Lier Municipality now intends to carry out exterior cladding renovation as part of this procurement. Original architectural details will be restored and repainted in their original colors. In some areas new cladding will be installed. The roof of the oldest part will be replaced and the roof restored to its original appearance with red roof tiles.
