Meadow Bird Monitoring in Utrecht Province 2027

Summary

The Province of Utrecht is procuring a single-provider service to monitor meadow birds across approximately 34,235 hectares in 2027. The work comprises four full survey rounds from March to June, following the BMP method, analysis of the observations, and a research report with digital mapping and data files; observations must also be entered into the NDFF. Locations of black terns and purple herons are to be recorded, and calculating the black-tailed godwit’s breeding success is an optional task.
