Pilot for target-based management in agriculture in Groningen

Summary

The Province of Groningen is procuring pilot projects to test target-based management in agriculture using different performance indicators. The procurement has seven lots covering dairy and arable farming on different soil types; in each pilot, indicator values will be calculated for participating farms, and study meetings will enable farmers to compare results and share knowledge. The estimated total value of the services is EUR 2.5 million, with a planned period from 14 January 2027 to 31 December 2030.
