Temporary staffing of green-space maintenance personnel for the Municipality of Almelo

Summary

The Municipality of Almelo is seeking a framework agreement for temporary horticultural staff and supporting green-space services, including the establishment, replacement planting, maintenance and upkeep of public green areas and planting beds. Staff may be used to cover workload peaks, absences and backlogs; they may work alongside the municipality’s teams and must bring the required small tools and equipment. Work at Jewish cemeteries and hedge trimming at Almelo cemeteries are outside the contract. The single-lot framework agreement is due to start on 1 April 2027 and run for 24 months. The municipality may extend it twice by one year, through 31 March 2031. The estimated value is an average of €300,000 per year, with a maximum contract value of €1,800,000. There is no guaranteed minimum volume. The contractor must meet a 5% social-return obligation. Bidders must submit pricing, qualification evidence and quality responses.
