Modernisation of the Saulkrasti wastewater treatment plant complex to improve efficiency and reduce pollution

Summary

SIA “Saulkrastu komunālserviss” is procuring the integrated design, construction and author supervision for modernising its wastewater treatment plant complex at Ozolu Street 23 in Saulkrasti. The works include upgrading pretreatment, sludge handling, pumping, chemical dosing and control systems, constructing a third SBR biological reactor and a receiving facility for wastewater from decentralised sewer systems, and integrating the plant’s automation and SCADA systems. The modernised plant is designed for flows of up to 1,960 m³ per day, with construction planned to maintain continuous wastewater treatment; the total contract period is up to 30 months.
