Installation of grounding, lightning and surge-protection systems in LBTU’s main teaching building

Summary

Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) is procuring construction works to install grounding, lightning-protection and surge-protection systems in its main teaching building at Lielā iela 2, Jelgava. The single, unloted contract includes approximately 1,225 m of horizontal grounding conductor in trenches, 60 vertical earth electrodes, 1,600 m of roof-mounted lightning conductors and 900 m of down conductors, as well as surge-protection equipment, related internal electrical works and reinstatement of affected surfaces and landscaping. The works are to be completed within six months of the site being handed over for construction.
