Furniture purchase under the project to improve the learning environment in Ventspils general education schools

Summary

The procurement covers a total of 663 new furniture items for Ventspils State Gymnasium No. 1 and Ventspils Secondary School No. 4, as well as acoustic discussion booths for Gymnasium No. 1. It is divided into three lots: furniture for each school and acoustic booths. Depending on the items, the contract includes manufacture, delivery, assembly and installation. The delivery deadline is 13 August 2027 for the Gymnasium No. 1 furniture and booths, and 30 August 2027 for the Secondary School No. 4 furniture. Bids may cover one, several or all lots, but only one variant may be submitted for each lot. The bidder must submit a compliant technical and financial offer through EIS and demonstrate that the furniture meets the technical specification, school hygiene requirements and applicable standards, and contains none of the specified hazardous substances. The warranty must be at least 36 calendar months; during the warranty period, reported defects must be remedied within five working days and defective furniture replaced within ten working days. The bid price must include all contract performance costs. The lowest contract price is the award criterion for each lot; in the event of a tie, the longer warranty is preferred. To participate, the bidder must meet the registration requirements, and neither the bidder nor relevant associated persons may be subject to exclusion grounds or sanctions that prevent contract performance.
