Purchase of combat sports clothing and equipment
Summary
The procurement covers combat sports clothing and equipment in two lots: Lot 1 is for 150 sets of close-combat jackets, trousers and belts, and Lot 2 is for 50 training shields. Bidders may submit an offer for either or both lots. The estimated total value for both lots is up to EUR 41,999.99 excluding VAT. The contract will run for 24 months or until that value is reached; orders will be placed according to need and available funds. The clothing in Lot 1 must be suitable for close-combat training. The jacket and trousers must have reinforced seams and wear areas, be black or dark blue, and be supplied with a black belt. The technical specification also sets requirements for materials, fabric density and dimensions, and requires a stylised lion-head embroidery and a Latvian flag on the jacket. Delivery is due within 60 days of an order, with a warranty of at least 24 months. The Lot 2 training shield must absorb impacts; its technical requirements cover construction, material, dimensions and weight. It must be delivered within 60 days and carry a warranty of at least five years. Goods for both lots are to be delivered in Riga. The bidder must submit a technical offer and a financial offer, as well as a sample by the offer deadline for each lot bid: a clothing set without embroidery for Lot 1 and a training shield for Lot 2. The offer must meet the technical requirements. The price must include delivery and all related costs and remain unchanged throughout the contract. Each lot is evaluated on price (60 points) and functionality (40 points).
