Maintenance, servicing and repair of sewer networks and wastewater treatment plants, and management of related hazardous waste

Summary

The procurement covers routine inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of the contracting authority’s sewer infrastructure in Riga, including domestic, industrial and stormwater networks, wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations. The services also include emergency response and the collection, transport and delivery of hazardous and other resulting waste for proper treatment or disposal. Work is performed at the authority’s Riga sites in accordance with the technical specification and its instructions. The service period is up to three years or until the contract’s total value is reached, whichever occurs first. The estimated value is EUR 374,000 excluding VAT. Bidders need the specified experience, a waste-management permit, a certified specialist, an agreement with SIA “Rīgas ūdens”, registration in Riga’s septic-tanker operator register and suitable vehicles meeting the technical requirements. Rapid response is required for routine and emergency call-outs: emergency call-outs require a response within two hours, 24 hours a day; other call-outs generally require a four-hour response. Offers are evaluated on price (95 points) and health insurance for staff involved in the services (5 points).
