Winter maintenance of streets and roads in Limbaži and year-round maintenance of transit streets

Summary

The contract covers winter maintenance of streets and roads in the Limbaži municipality, as well as winter and summer maintenance of transit streets located on state-road routes owned by the municipality. The work includes, among other things, snow clearance and anti-skid treatment; some maintenance areas also include snow removal and repairs to road surfaces, markings and roadside infrastructure. The procurement is divided into 30 lots, and a tender may cover one or more lots; the precise locations and scope depend on the lot. The contract term is 24 months. Planned quantities are indicative and are not guaranteed. Work must begin no later than two hours after the contracting authority issues a work order. Each lot is evaluated separately, and the lowest-priced tender is selected. To participate, bidders must submit a technical offer, a financial offer and the required qualification evidence electronically. The bidder must have suitable snow-clearing machinery with power of at least 150 hp and a plough at least 3 metres wide.
