Functional and Electrical Safety Testing of Medical Devices

Summary

The contract covers functional and electrical safety testing of medical devices for Riga Maternity Hospital. Tests will normally be performed at the contracting authority’s premises at Miera Street 45, Riga; by agreement with its responsible representative, testing may exceptionally take place elsewhere. After scheduling the service with the contracting authority, the tests must be carried out within 5 working days; urgent post-repair tests must be carried out within 2 working days. Reports must be submitted electronically within 5 working days after testing. Measurements must use calibrated instruments, and the reports must include the required measurement results and equipment traceability details. The contract runs for 24 months or until its value is exhausted; the draft provides for a possible 12-month extension if the amount has not been used by then. The estimated total value is EUR 41,999.99 excluding VAT. The bidder must hold accreditation for the required tests and submit the required application, technical offer and financial offer. The contract will be awarded to the compliant offer with the lowest evaluated price.
