Adaptation and improvement of buildings (shelters) for civil-protection purposes

Summary

The tender covers the adaptation and improvement of 42 buildings and shelters in Riga for civil-protection purposes. Where required, the contractor must prepare and obtain approval for construction documentation, carry out the works, provide author supervision and hand the sites over for use. Work must be organised so that institutions operating in the buildings can continue their activities without interruption. The contract runs for eight calendar months: at least 10 sites must be completed within four months, another 10 or more within five months, at least 10 more within seven months, and the remaining sites within eight months. The works must have a warranty of at least 60 months. The bidder must demonstrate the required construction experience, financial capacity and certified personnel, and provide EUR 60,000 bid security. The bid must include, among other items, the work price, schedule, work-organisation description and construction risk analysis. The price must cover all necessary materials, approvals and work-organisation costs. Goods and services originating in Russia or Belarus may not be used in performing the contract.
