Adaptation of facilities (shelters) for civil protection in Talsi Municipality

Summary

The tender covers the adaptation of shelter rooms at nine sites in Talsi Municipality for civil protection purposes. The works must follow the bills of quantities, building inventory records and marked rooms, and meet the minimum requirements for a Category III shelter. The sites are in Talsi, Valdemārpils and Pastende: Raiņa iela 17, Kareivju iela 7 and 12, Zvaigžņu iela 1, Brīvības iela 10A and Jaunā iela 1 in Talsi; Jaunā iela 1A and Raiņa iela 16 in Valdemārpils; and Skolas iela 2 in Pastende. The procurement is not divided into lots, and bids must cover the entire scope. The contractor must organise and carry out the construction works, providing the necessary materials, labour, equipment, documentation and inspections, and hand over the rooms ready for use. The completion period is no more than four months from contract signature. The works and materials must carry a warranty of at least 36 months. The estimated contract value is EUR 211,380.97. Price is the sole award criterion; if prices tie, the shorter completion period takes precedence. Bidders must inspect the sites before submitting a bid and provide the required confirmation. The bid must be submitted electronically in Latvian with the required technical and financial parts; VAT must be shown separately in the financial offer.
