Supply of immobilisation and patient transfer equipment

Summary

The procurement covers 13 categories of equipment for immobilising and moving patients in pre-hospital emergency care: wide and narrow vacuum mattresses, Kramer splints and covers, soft stretcher sheets, a short spinal immobilisation and evacuation device, unilateral traction splints, a combined scoop stretcher and long spinal board, head immobilisers, patient safety straps, rigid cervical collars and pelvic binders. Products must meet the detailed technical requirements for their category and be compatible with the emergency medical service’s existing equipment. All goods must be new; reusable products must have a warranty of at least 24 months, and CE marking is required where specified. Surfaces must be cleanable and disinfectable, and certain products must allow X-ray, MRI and CT imaging. The supplier must use its own resources to deliver and unload the goods in the room or warehouse designated by the contracting authority. Unit prices must include all costs other than VAT and will generally remain unchanged during the framework agreement. Offers are ranked by the lowest unit price for each position, and up to three suppliers may be selected for each position under the framework agreement. The framework agreement is planned to run for 30 months, with a maximum total value of EUR 657,453.53 excluding VAT; the contracting authority does not guarantee that it will purchase the full amount or planned quantities. To participate, bidders must meet the registration and legal-capacity conditions, submit technical and financial offers with the required manufacturer and product documentation, and confirm that no exclusion grounds apply and that supplied goods do not originate from Russia or Belarus.
