KASKO and motor liability insurance for the Food and Veterinary Service’s vehicles
Summary
The procurement covers KASKO and compulsory motor third-party liability (OCTA) insurance for vehicles owned by the Food and Veterinary Service from 1 January to 31 December 2027. The vehicles listed in the tender documents must be insured; if the fleet changes, the insurer must allow additional vehicles to be insured without extra administrative charges. KASKO must cover, among other things, collisions, natural disasters, fire, vandalism, theft and robbery. The deductible is EUR 100 for ordinary damage; no deductible applies to glass damage, theft, robbery or total loss. The specification also requires 24/7 roadside assistance and a replacement vehicle for at least 5 calendar days, or 15 calendar days in specified circumstances. The estimated contract value does not exceed EUR 41,999.99 excluding VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically and in Latvian. The procurement is not divided into lots and alternative bids are not permitted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced bidder. Bidders must be registered as required and hold a valid Latvian licence to provide both KASKO and OCTA insurance services.
