Recovery and/or disposal of non-hazardous municipal waste in six lots

Summary

Area Sud Milano S.p.A. is procuring, for one year, the recovery and/or disposal of municipal waste collected in the municipality of Rozzano, divided into six lots: organic waste (3,200 tonnes per year), street-sweeping waste (500 tonnes), wood (1,000 tonnes), loose green waste (110 tonnes), inert waste (800 tonnes) and bulky waste (700 tonnes). The annual estimated values excluding VAT are €251,680, €58,080, €108,900, €6,921.20, €43,560 and €220,220 respectively, for a total of €689,361.20. The work includes treating or disposing of waste at a suitable facility, handling impurities and processing residues, weighing waste and preparing traceability records. For the organic-waste lot, non-biodegradable bags may also need to be opened. Bidders must demonstrate relevant business registration, lawful access to a suitable and duly authorised facility, and compliance with the financial and relevant-experience requirements. The facility must normally be within 45 km of the specified Rozzano reference point. If it is farther away, the contractor must use a transfer station within that distance and transport waste from there to the destination facility at its own expense. The tender must include technical and financial offers, a 2% provisional guarantee and proof of the required participation-fee payment. Offers must be submitted electronically by 12:00 on 9 November 2026. The successful contractor will provide the service for 12 months, with a possible technical extension of up to three months. Technical factors carry up to 60 points and price up to 40 points.
