Four-year framework agreement for bone substitutes, grafts and bone cements

Summary

The South Tyrol Health Service and the Trentino health authority are procuring a four-year framework agreement, without reopening competition, for bone substitutes, grafts and bone cements. The seven lots cover hardening structural cements and substitutes; beads, pastes and other non-structural filling systems; resorbable carriers for local antibiotic delivery; biomaterials, bone substitutes, grafts and matrices for bone-defect reconstruction and regeneration; biomimetic membranes or scaffolds for cartilage and osteochondral lesions; PMMA bone cements and their mixing and application systems; and bioabsorbable fixation systems for osteochondral and cartilage lesions. The estimated total value is EUR 25,317,262.50.
