Treatment of inert waste collected at waste collection centres

Summary

SMTD 65 is procuring the treatment of inert waste collected at waste collection centres under a four-year framework agreement starting in 2027. The procurement is divided into three lots: waste requiring sorting for material recovery or use in quarry restoration; waste not requiring prior sorting for material recovery or quarry disposal; and waste not requiring prior sorting for material recovery or use in a gravel pit. The maximum quantity for each lot is 32,000 tonnes over the contract period; the expected annual quantities are 2,000, 5,000 and 1,500 tonnes respectively.
