Upgrading the sanitary facilities in the Village of Cabanes at the Dune du Pilat site

Summary

The procurement covers upgrades to the sanitary facilities in the Village of Cabanes at the Dune du Pilat site, in the municipality of La Teste-de-Buch. The works are divided into six lots: demolition, partitions, substrate preparation and finishes; plumbing and sanitary equipment; lighting and ventilation; partitions, joinery and toilet cubicles; acoustic treatment; and painting and interior finishes. The contract lasts six months from the issue of the instruction to commence. A bidder may tender for one or two lots, and a site visit is mandatory for all bidders. For each lot tendered, the bid must include a signed undertaking, a completed price schedule, and a technical and methodological statement. The weighted award criteria are technical quality (50%), price (40%) and environmental value (10%). Technical quality covers understanding of the requirements and environmental context, work organisation, materials and equipment, staffing, and intervention times. Environmental value covers eco-labels, recycled materials, recovery of unused materials and equipment in good condition, very low-emission vehicles or machinery, and protection of habitats and species. The works must take account of the protected natural site, heavy visitor use, and the salty, humid and abrasive environment; where possible, sanitary facilities are to remain in use in separate zones while work proceeds. Bids must be submitted electronically in French.
