Strengthening the La Selve Bridge and restoring ecological continuity

Summary

The contract covers strengthening and repairing the La Selve Bridge and restoring ecological continuity near the municipalities of Creysseilles and Veyras. The works include preparing the site and constructing access routes, demolishing the weir in stages, strengthening bridge abutments C0 and C1 with soil nails, sprayed concrete and drainage, repairing the bridge arch and roadway, installing waterproofing and parapets, and demolishing and filling the disused well. The work areas must then be reinstated and revegetated. This is a single contract with no lots or alternative bids. The contract lasts 5 months, including a 4-month construction period. The start date will be set by a works commencement order; work is forecast to start in June 2027. The proposed schedule must allow uninterrupted work during the June-to-August low-water period. Bids must be submitted electronically by 12 November 2026 at 12:00. A site visit is mandatory and will take place on either 27 or 29 October 2026 at 09:00; proof of attendance must be included with the bid. The contractor must also fulfil the social inclusion requirement by providing at least 35 insertion hours. The bid must include a lump-sum price breakdown and a technical memorandum of no more than 10 A4 pages printed double-sided, excluding annexes. Bids are assessed on price (60 points), technical value (30 points) and environmental value (10 points); a technical memorandum is mandatory. Bidders must demonstrate relevant qualifications, experience, technical resources, turnover for the last three years and professional liability insurance. Prices are firm but adjustable; no advance payment is provided.
