Design services for the Le Val Badinter school complex

Summary

The contract is for design and construction management services for the Le Val Badinter school complex in Meudon, over a period of 43 months. The work covers redesigning the dining area, maintaining school meal services during construction through a temporary modular kitchen, landscaping the schoolyard, two existing courtyards and an adjacent plot as an oasis courtyard project, and comprehensively renovating the apartments above the dining area to improve energy performance. The apartment renovation must achieve at least energy class B and comply with the BBC rénovation 2024 standard; access to and remediation of the cellars are also included. The school will remain occupied during the works, while the apartments will be vacant. The combined annual turnover of all members of a bidding consortium must be at least EUR 800,000 excluding VAT, and a site visit is mandatory under the tender rules. Bids are assessed on price (40%), technical quality (50%) and environmental performance (10%).
