Transport of bodies with faces uncovered for judicial autopsies and examinations

Summary

The procurement is divided into four lots covering the transport of bodies with faces uncovered for judicial autopsies and other examinations in the departments of Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse and Vosges. The service includes collecting the body at the place where it was found, transporting it in a specialised vehicle to a medico-legal institute, hospital, funeral home or other examination location, and returning it after examination to the discovery location, a nearby place, or a location requested by the family if that costs no more than returning it to the discovery location. The contractor must also provide a biodegradable body bag, the necessary staff and equipment. Each lot will have at least two and no more than three framework-contract holders. The contract starts on 1 February 2027, runs for two years and may be renewed twice for one year each, but not beyond 31 January 2031. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 10 November 2026 at 17:00. Evaluation considers technical quality, environmental performance and price; the respective weights are 60%, 10% and 30% for Lot 1, and 50%, 10% and 40% for Lots 2–4.
