Energy-efficiency renovation works at Duguay-Trouin College in Saint-Malo
Summary
The tender covers the extensive renovation of Duguay-Trouin College in Saint-Malo, divided into 12 lots. The works aim to improve the building’s energy efficiency and environmental performance, renew its façades and enhance student comfort by providing sanitary facilities and extending and refurbishing the covered area. They also include redesigning the outdoor areas and school courtyard and replacing the bicycle shelter. The lots cover, among other things, asbestos and lead removal, general building works, timber structures, façades and insulation, roofing and waterproofing, metalwork, external and internal works, plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical works and landscaping. The works will take place while the school remains in use and are expected to last 26 months, including a 2-month preparation period. A separate lump-sum contract with a revisable price will be awarded for each lot. Bids are evaluated on technical quality (40%), price (40%) and environmental value (20%). A site visit is mandatory for every lot before submitting a bid. Bids must be submitted electronically, and bidder-proposed variants are not permitted. Lots 7, 8, 10 and 11 require mandatory pricing of the specified additional works. A social employment requirement applies to all lots except Lot 1. The deadline for bid submission is 10 November 2026 at 16:00.
