Tender detail
Engineering and project management for renovation of the high-voltage distribution system at Paris-Saclay University
Summary
The tender concerns engineering and project management services for renovating the high-voltage distribution system and substations at Paris-Saclay University’s Orsay–Bures–Gif campus. The project aims to improve the reliability of the electricity supply, convert the site’s main supply to 20,000 volts and optimise the high-voltage infrastructure while taking operation and maintenance costs into account. The contractor will manage the replacement and rerouting of the site’s high-voltage distribution system and liaise with Enedis to examine direct grid supply and the move to a 20,000-volt main supply. The contract includes optional stages defined in the tender documents, and services are paid at lump-sum prices. Work starts when the contract is notified and is planned to last 18 months. Tenderers must attend a mandatory site visit before submitting a bid; a bid from a tenderer who has not attended will be declared irregular. Bids must be submitted electronically, variants are not permitted, and bids must remain valid for six months. Precise qualification and exclusion requirements must be checked in the tender documents.
