Surface dressing and cold-applied bituminous material works

Summary

The contract covers the application of surface dressing and cold-applied bituminous materials on the public roads of the Rhône department. Work may also be carried out, when needed, on other departmental public areas such as car parks. The procurement is divided into two lots: surface dressing (estimated value €20 million) and cold-applied bituminous materials (€6 million). Each lot has an estimated duration of 12 months starting on 8 April 2027. The works will be ordered under a framework agreement at unit prices, with one contractor appointed per lot. A bidder may submit offers for and be awarded up to two lots. Work must be carried out during daytime only. Prices may be revised; an advance is available without requiring a financial guarantee, and the contract may be renewed and similar works may be commissioned under the conditions set out in the tender documents. Social and environmental performance conditions are detailed in those documents. Bids must be submitted electronically by 16:00 on 5 November 2026.
