Rental of an X-ray tomograph with an option to purchase

Summary

Grenoble Institute of Technology is seeking an X-ray tomograph for the SIMAP laboratory to study the effects of X-rays on electronic components. The contract covers rental with an option to purchase, as well as delivery, installation, connection, commissioning, user training and maintenance during the rental period. The rental runs from acceptance of the equipment until October 2027. Delivery must take place within four months of contract award, and installation and commissioning must be completed within one week after delivery. A base offer is mandatory. A bidder may additionally offer either a rotation stage with an 80 kg capacity or a detector with at least 2,800 × 2,800 pixels, but the two variants cannot be combined. Pricing for the mandatory three-year post-warranty maintenance package is also required. It includes one preventive inspection and three corrective visits with spare parts per year, as well as software updates. The maximum budget is EUR 549,996 excluding VAT for rental payments and EUR 112,500 excluding VAT in total for the purchase option and maintenance package. Offers are assessed on price (35%), technical solution (50%), environmental performance (10%) and technical support (5%). Offers must be submitted electronically by 5 November 2026 at 17:00 and remain valid for six months. Bidders must submit the required financial and experience information and complete the financial and technical offer forms.
