Summary

The City of Lanester is procuring coffins and coffin linings in two lots for its municipal funeral service. A separate purchase-order framework agreement will be awarded to one economic operator for each lot. The initial term is 12 months and may be tacitly renewed three times for 12 months each, up to a maximum term of 48 months. For each period, the minimum and maximum order values are EUR 40,000–80,000 for coffins and EUR 4,000–15,000 for coffin linings. The total maximum value across all periods is EUR 320,000 for coffins and EUR 60,000 for linings. Bidders must submit the required evidence of their legal status and their economic, financial and technical capacity, together with the price catalogue, unit-price schedule, estimated quantity schedule, implementation statement and technical data sheets. Coffins must meet French funeral-sector legislation and technical specifications, including a biodegradable waterproof interior lining, at least four handles and screw fastenings. Minimum thickness is 22 mm for burial coffins and 18 mm for cremation coffins. Environmental conditions cover sustainably sourced or recycled and biodegradable materials, as well as environmentally responsible packaging and transport. Delivery is required within 72 hours to Lanester, and damaged or defective products must be replaced free of charge. The deadline for submission is 10 November 2026 at 17:00. Bids must be submitted electronically in French and in euros; documents in another language must include a French translation. Bids remain valid for 120 days. Evaluation gives 50% to technical quality, 10% to environmental performance and 40% to price.
