Preliminary studies for the Water, Climate, Biodiversity and Tourism project in the Vallée en Barret sensitive natural area

Summary

The Communauté de communes de la Vallée du Garon is commissioning a 21-month study, with an estimated value of €116,000, to develop a strategy for managing visitor use of the Vallée en Barret sensitive natural area in the context of climate change. The work will also develop an adaptation strategy for management of the site as a whole, taking account of its climate-related vulnerabilities and opportunities, as part of the Water, Climate, Biodiversity and Tourism project.
